Professor of Orthodontics, Harvard School of Dental Medicine · Inventor of the Keles Keyless Expander

A graduate of Istanbul University's Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Keleş completed his doctorate at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1994, earning the Thomas Graber Award of Special Merit from the American Association of Orthodontists and the Moorrees Award of Excellence from Harvard. He went on to hold faculty positions at Marmara University and the University of Connecticut before returning to Harvard, where he still teaches postdoctoral residents today. He holds multiple US patents — including the Keles Keyless Expander, Keles Slider, and Keles Face Mask — has authored more than 30 scientific publications, and currently serves as International Vice President of the Harvard Dental Alumni for the Advancement of Orthodontics, alongside his private orthodontic practice in Istanbul.
